The Antietam National Battlefield Tour

The Antietam National Battlefield is the site of one of the most savage battles of America’s most bloody war. It was here, on September 17, 1862 that Union and Confederate forces would engage in a fight that would become cataclysmic in proportions. At the end of the day, 23,000 soldiers would be dead, wounded or missing, making it the battle in which the most American’s lost their lives, even more than D-Day in World War II.That legacy is preserved today by the National Park Service. Almost 100 monuments give testament to what happened here, the enormous loss of life and the impact that the battle, and the war in which it occurred, would have on American history. As a result of this battle, Lincoln was motivated to sign the preliminary Emancipation Proclamation that set the slaves free and that sent the Civil War raging to its bloodiest heights.The Antietam National Battle Field has opportunities for guided tours, self-tours and even tours that are guided via an MP3 downloaded to a personal music player. The park rangers are always willing to share their vast knowledge of the site.

An Atlanta video production burns latrines

and i kicked his tail in ‘pluck.’  very rewarding.yesterday, the BBHS was on ‘spit-burnin’ detail. We were tempted to document it with our Atlanta video production.

he got his underlings to pull the barrels from beneaththe latrines.  Then he soaked them with about 20gallons of diesel and torched them.  trouble was, thebarrels weren’t pulled far enough from the plywoodlatrines.  the wind shifted, and the fire beganscorching the womens’ johns.  So the BBHS and someothers had to pick up the latrines and move them outof harms way.  his mood stayed foul the rest of theday.  the card game didn’t help, i’m afraid.

Well it is that time of year again that everyone comes together to bring Cheer to the world. Yeah right, I just want to make sure that I have enough spirit left that i don’t chuck the plate of turkey at my aunt Blanche this year. But i took it a step further and I started working on family Christmas crafts for everyone. It has really changed my overall outlook and prospective on the whole season. I even found myself this morning sing a couple of Christmas songs in the shower. And by the way I am a horrible singer.

Acai Leukemia Effect

The acai research done at the University of Florida proved the acai leukemia effect that the acai berry induced cell death in significant amount. Different concentrations of the acai berry were used and different results were found. One thing for certain, if you have leukemia, then the acai berry may hold the key to your recovering.

So far, nothing has been known to cure cancer or has the same effect on cancer cells like the acai berry has.

It is an amazing property that the acai berry can induce death of cancer cells. More research will be done to prove further if the results can be duplicated in a controlled environment.

Finding a new gym

I am getting ready to move to Montana and my gym is not a nationwide chain so I know that I will not be able to just transfer my membership.  I love my gym and I would like to find a gym with similarities to the one I go to now.  So I went to a nationwide fitness center directory website to check out the gyms that are in the area that I am moving to.  It was very helpful for me because all the info on the center was right there at my fingertips.  I have placed calls and set up a few tours for when we get there so that I can make my choice.
