Country Music Singers - Bobby Helms

Bobby Helms was born and raised into the world of music. He started out as a duo with his brother, Freddie, before striking out on his own. In 1956, Helms made it to Nashville, Tennessee. He signed a contract with Decca Records, which made him a success right away. Like many country music singers, his career really began to pick up after his first number one single, Fraulein. He continued to produce many hit songs and albums for the next thirty years and has been known to enjoy his success. After a great music career, Helms passed away as a result of emphysema and asthma in 1997.
