Car Pool Instead Of New Auto Insurance?

I’m looking for a new car although I really don’t like the thought of changing my current auto insurance. The insurance I got now is pretty cool but it will increase significantly if I buy a new car which means that I will have to shop again for cheap auto insurance. I don’t think I’ll have time for that but I don’t think my current car will last much longer. I’m also considering leasing a car but I guess that’ll be even more expencive. Perhaps it’s best to just go for car pools. It can’t be that bad after all there are tons of people doing it already.
