You Can’t Afford Not to Have Health Insurance

Not long ago my son  told me that his new job does not offer benefits.  When I asked what he was doing for insurance, he told me that he is young and healthy and doesn’t need it. I pointed out that even young people have accidents and get sick.  After I explained how his father had once paid thousands of dollars for medical care because we were uninsured, my son decided he could not afford not to have insurance.  He went online and was surprised to find he could afford cheap health insurance which would take care of major medical costs.  A week later he broke his wrist and called to thank me for talking him into the policy.
