Learn How To Legal Mitigate Your Stamp Duty
March 31st, 2009 by admin
Under the new Stamp Duty Land Tax that was enacted in 2003, it states that all homes that are valued at £250,001 pounds and higher are subject to a 3% stamp duty tax rate. Anything £250,000 pounds and less, and it is only a 1% rate. This kind of bracket of taxes is very unfair in the United Kingdom as property values have begun to soar over the past few years. That being said, many potential buyers are very interested in finding out about legal methods of stamp duty mitigation in order to save thousands of pounds when they purchase a new home or property.
