Locum Pharmacy Technician Colleges – Locum Or ADhoc

August 29th, 2008 by admin

Locum pharmacy technician colleges. The word ‘locum’ literally means ‘proxy’ or to operate as a temporary substitute to other in his absence. There can be many employers whose employees  have taken long leaves due to unavoidable causes such as maternity, accident or disability. In such cases, the employer seeks to fill up the vacancies with temporary or ad-hoc pharmacy technicians while their permanent technician is away. The demand and job profile of a locum technician is by no means scanty and different from a permanent pharmacy technician. They are required in huge numbers in hospital, nursing homes and by private practitioners.
