When one person is having a garage sale, he or she might make some money but one sale will not draw too many people to the sale. If you have many families all having garage sales then more people will be interested. Everyone can make money at home then.

When all homes are having a sale, it does not mean they are competing. People love to get good deals and they will hold on to buying if they think that they are going to get better deals elsewhere.

You can also help each other out such as having someone to look out for your stuff when you are at lunch.
