Printing heavier and thicker signs
January 30th, 2008 by admin
The trouble with printing signs on your computer utilizing a typical PC printer is that these types of printers are designed to accommodate a paper and light card stock only — but what if you need to print a heavier or thicker sign? Here is a good workaround solution: turn out the text of your sign on light card stock — the manufacturer of your printer can recommend a size and brand that works best — then either glue or laminate it to the thicker material, such as wood or a metal backing. While not a perfect solution, it will nevertheless be a good alternative in many situations.
