You can make use of the radio to promote your latest product or event or you can use the world wide web. Some even go far as a parade or a billboard. It works that is why companies pay for these kinds of promotions.
These can be a lot of hard work but you need to do it. There should be at least an hour a day for business promotion or at least the planning side of it. Think out of the box. Anything can be used a business promotion, it could just be a piece of paper but that piece of paper can go a long, long way.
