Hebrew is now my second language.

November 17th, 2008 by admin

Last year as a senior in college I totally fell in love for the first time.  Everything was perfect about us,well almost evrything, she spoke very little English.  She had moved with her family from Russia and speaks Russian and Hebrew. She is Jewish and so am I.  Since she now technically knew three languages I felt compelled to Learn Hebrew.  Her parents really liked me so they would help me out with the Hebrew CD’s that I had purchased.  It seemed as though within six months I was speaking and comprehending the language pretty good.  This has been a great learning experience for me.

Transformer Action Figures a Big Hit

November 13th, 2008 by admin

There are so many different types of transformer action figures.  They come in series so you can collect a series at a time.  Being a woman, I am not sure what the hype is about.  What I can attest to is that my brothers, my own sons and now my grandsons were and are thrilled with transformer figures as a gift!  You just can’t seem to go wrong in purchasing one of these things for any boy, be it a Christmas gift, birthday or just a nice thing to do.  I have purchased transformers for every boy in my life now, and never once has anyone complained, and in fact, they are the first gift out of the box and on the floor to play with!

Nikon D80 Price Slashed

November 10th, 2008 by admin

Although the D90 has been released, the Nikon D80 doesn’t seem to be dropping in sales at all. This may be because of the Nikon D80 price which has been slashed to just under £400. This is a fantastic opportunity for newbies and advanced users alike to get a near top-of0 the range camera for such a low price. Don’t miss the opportunity. The Nikon D80 does lack a few of the D90’s features but the Nikon D80’s price makes up for that. Unless you are very keen to use your digital SLR as a video camera, we’d recommend picking up a cheap D80.

Excellent cufflink box

November 7th, 2008 by admin

When it’s time to set your accessories for the night, it’s always a good thing to have a dedicated cufflink box for your cufflinks. In this way, you avoid mixing these with other things, such as jewelries and watches. Scratching or damaging the delicate surfaces of your cufflinks and other items is a real concern, which is more likely to happen when you dump all your things together in one case.Cufflink boxes come in a variety of styles and sizes, and you’ll surely find something that fits your collection of cufflinks. Common materials are wood, metal and plastics, usually lined up with  velvet. In some types, latches are provided where you can insert each cufflink to hold it in place, until you need it again.

Bulk wedding favors

November 5th, 2008 by admin

There are so many accessories for weddings. Take favors, there are bulk wedding favors that come in packs of 100, 200, 500, or 1,000 for discounted prices. The rates are quite low compared to buying the items individually. Miniature chocolates, matchbooks, napkins, bubbles, and wedding bells are just some of the items that come in packs of 100 for only $30. There are also edible wedding favors like mints, candy hearts, bottled or canned goods handmade at home, cookie packets, fortune cookies, cinnamon hearts, Jordan almonds, raw honey, bottled water, sparkling apple cider, and small wine bottles. The list is endless when you start thinking up sugary goodies that your guests can take home with them and you can buy in bulk. Food items can double as wedding favors, and they’re a lot cheaper than the most usual wedding favors.

A world of competition.

November 5th, 2008 by admin

I have been building websites for about five years now and I must say that I have never had that many websites that sell monogram jewelry, like this year. I really do not know what happened in the jewelry business but what I do know is that a lot of these companies are coming to me and giving me a lot of work. I guess I can’t complain about this, but it is kind of funny how so many of these competitive companies are coming to me for the same thing. I guess that there is a lot of competition out there and they all want to be the best.

What do you do with Personalized Children’s Books when kids get older

October 30th, 2008 by admin

Most things you purchase for children go to charity, go to other kids, or go to the trash can.  personalized children’s books are one of the few things you buy for kids and keep forever.  The question is, who gets it and what do you do with it?  Most parents probably give it to their children when they are adults with a number of other treasured items stored in a trunk or box.  Others keep it for themselves to remember that special time when the child received it.  Either way, someone will remember that moment in time and treasure it forever.

Importance Of Saving Money

October 29th, 2008 by admin

Ever since I was a little girl, saving money has been so very important to me.  I would always hide my money so that I would not spend it, and then I would find it months later and be surprised.  I also have always loved watching the number in my savings account get larger and larger.  This is why I am always using coupons at stores like the mini boden store when I shop for clothing.  It is also why I buy things on sale at the grocery store.  I hesitate before large purchases, because I know that I will have to see so much money disappear.
