A Woman With a (Criminal) Past?

I was definitely caught off guard when I first met Nettie.
She had tattoos, an attitude, a police record, and rode her Harley with a group of biker friends.
But I learned that, when I got past the startling outside of her, there was a caring, warm woman inside with a heart of gold and a counter-culture attitude.
I was even more surprised to find she was well educated but had “dropped out” of society after she and some friends were caught in a drug raid, leaving them with arrest records.
Nettie has remained my most interesting friend for many years, still surprises me constantly, and still rides her Harley, at the age of sixty five.

How to study the bible book by book.

The bible is more than one book. It is a collage of different sections known as books. As each “book” was written by a different author whom was inspired by god, they were all consolidated at some point. The original format for the bible was a bunch of scrolls and each was self sufficiently its own book. When do a Book-by-Book Bible Study, your actually reading the bible the way it was written. You do not necessarily have to read them in any order although it does help you understand it better this way. It’s really a matter of preference.

Looking into a neuropsychology masters degree

I have always been fascinated by the brain and how it works. After my older brother suffered a brain injury I knew that I wanted to get a neuropsychology masters and work with people that had suffered brain injuries. My brother recovered far beyond anything that the doctors had anticipated. For me that made me feel inspired and I wanted to focus on the brain’s ability to recover and to regain information. Potentially, I will be able to make a career for myself in this field. Brain injury can be tragic and scary and I want to contribute to the potential recovery of patients.

Microsoft was famously let to the web party, having only 2 people in the entire company working on Internet related projects in 1994. Within a couple of years, EVERY employee in the company was in some way working on web related projects. Fortunately, Microsoft was able to right the ship and now has a very strong web strategy.
