Quick Results

November 11th, 2009 by admin

What do most people want to change about their body? For women, it’s either your back side or your baby belly. For men, nine times out of ten, it’s how to lose your beer belly. I had just begun to think that it would take exercising from dusk until dark at a very high, intense, cardio level. And if that is the case, it’s mine forever. I might as well take complete ownership of my abs, but then I ran across newfitnessscience.com. Is there an easier way to obtain a six pack? Is what they say for real, LESS time in the gym? Since I don’t have all day, I like the idea.

Best Time To Catch Crappie

November 5th, 2009 by admin

Crappie Fishing Tips are the following. The best time to catch crappie is at night. Under certain conditions they can be caught constantly, but as a universal rule, most anglers fish for crappie off of these piers at night. The first trick, as you will rapidly find out, is to position a light above the water once night falls. There are crappie lights that an individual can buy, or you can simply attach a propane lantern to a rope, lower in off of the pier, and position it right above the water. The purpose of doing this is to attract bugs and small underwater creatures to the light.

How To Improve My Vertical Jump

October 23rd, 2009 by admin

How to improve my vertical jump? Many have asked themselves this same question. This task is made much harder because of all the bad information on the topic. If you aren’t careful you can waste some serious time on “increasing vertical leap exercises” that doesn’t work. The key is getting stronger muscles. Nobody will deny this. But the important thing is not merely getting “stronger muscles”… it is strengthening the right muscles. All “vertical leap” programs help you get stronger… but most of them strengthen the wrong muscles.

Creating a Fast Pace

October 23rd, 2009 by admin

The purpose of speed drills is to create a fast pace agility in the mind as well as the body.  When the mind is trained to think fast, the body will respond in like manner.  There are lots of ways to do speed drills, and some people think first of side to side obstacle course running.  But in the 1990s I had a teacher who said to develop the quicker brain was just as important if not more.  He had us start indoors, sitting at a table stacking and unstacking plastic cups or containers.  Timing and agility were important and required almost flawless coordination skills.  After simple skills were mastered and our times improved he took us out to the field and incorporated those skills into other areas.  Try it!

Playing trout

October 21st, 2009 by admin

Once hooked, a small trout can be easily retrieved “on the reel” or by simply pulling in the fly line with the reel hand while pinching the line between the rod handle and the index finger of the rod hand. It is important to keep the rod tip high, allowing the bend of the rod to absorb the force of the fish’s struggles against the line. Larger trout will often take line in powerful runs before they can be landed. Unlike spin fishing where the line is already on the reel, playing a large fish with fly line and a fly reel can present a special challenge. Usually, when a fish is hooked, there will be extra fly line coiled between the reel and the index finger of the Fly Fishing Rod hand.
