Options for recovering data

July 18th, 2010 by admin

Many tips for data recovery can be found online. However, there are some repairs that need to be done by the pros. The data recovery cost can vary from $40 for software applications to $1000 for full recovery of a 500 GB hard drive. When a computer is presumed to have a problem, first try rebooting the computer. Keep the computer turned off for approximately five minutes. Also, unplug the computer from the outlets and replug them back in. If restarting the computer does not fix the problem, check to make sure that the power jack is working. If you are still unable to access the data you may need to install data recovery software. Most computers come with a hotline that can be helpful for common computer problems.  If those options do not work, you may want to look into a data recovery service.
