My brother called me yesterday absolutely furious. He turned 25 last year and just got his insurance renewal notice. Having turned 25, he thought his premiums would go down as he is no longer in the high risk category. Yet, his actually went up by 10%. I suggested he go online to compare insurance quotes and he did while we were on the phone.

He found a company with a rate that is 50% lower than what he would be paying with his current company. Now he is wishing he had done this a long time ago. He could have saved a fortune.
