Anxiety and fear are natural emotions that everyone experiences from time to time and believe it or not, they are in fact essential to our wellbeing. Experiencing anxiety and fear teaches us to be alert and aware of danger and feel the need to tend to the wellbeing of ourselves and others. A small amount of anxiety it’s healthy but when anxiety begins to affect your lifestyle and mind, it’s likely that you have developed an anxiety disorder. Anxiety disorders affect approximately ten per cent of Australians; making them one of the most common mental health problems in our nation.
