Natural Movement

If you ever have the chance to watch professional weight lifters you will see that more often then not they will be doing more powerful, explosive movements when they are doing their big lifts. This just goes to show that the human body was not designed to perform slow controled movements. It is geared for strong explosive movements. This is what the body was designed for in the real world. Your body is not designed for slow movements. This will also give you limited results when it comes to your training. This is how to build muscle in the gym also.
