Beware the Ides of Countrywide, Say Some

There are many complaining that Countrywide Mortgage, one of the biggest mortgage companies in the country, are not all they’re cracked up to be. In fact, some are crying “foul”. One woman from Tennessee claims that Countrywide Mortgage lied about its closing costs in order to get her to sign up for their adjustable rates claiming a lower monthly payment. She states that what they don’t tell you about is the hidden fees which leave you paying more than before, pushing you into mortgage foreclosure. So before you do business with them, there are many foreclosure sufferers who suggest you look carefully at the fine print and don’t sign if the terms suddenly change at the last minute.
