Slats Keep Wooden Doormats Dry

June 28th, 2009 by admin

When I was looking for a new mat to buy for the back door of my house, I wanted to find something that was going to dry out quickly. With my old mats, it seemed as if they stayed water logged for several days after a good rain and all that did was track more muddy water into the house. I found out that wooden doormats dry very quickly because of the way they are constructed. They have small slats that allow air to flow through and dry out any rain or snow that might have melted. This feature alone was enough to make me purchase one.
