In California, Continuing Legal Education Classes Help Lawyers Be At Their Best

For lawyers in California, continuing legal education credits are required in order to keep your license to practice law. By California law, you must obtain 25 continuing education credits every three years. You can obtain these credits online or by taking in person classes. A minimum of four hours must be obtained in ethics, with one hour each in substance abuse and on eliminating bias in law. Finding the right school to take your California continuing legal education credits from will ensure that you are able to meet the minimum requirements while learning something that you enjoy. Although there are minimum requirements that you must meet, it does not mean that you have to take something that will bore you to tears or not enhance your practice. You can take a California continuing legal education class in several subjects related to your practice to be the best lawyer possible.
