I remember the first fish I ever got. I actually won it at the county fair by throwing a ping pong ball into a little bowl filled with water. I was really excited. And I have to say that those goldfish didn’t end up living very long, but I ended up hooked on tropical fish from that point on. I started buying progressively bigger tanks until I ended up with a 75 gallon saltwater aquarium. It was a very pricey setup, and it seems like so long ago now when I had little goldfish swimming around in an itty bitty fish bowl. I didn’t really even like goldfish, I just liked the idea of winning a pet. They used to have a game where you could win a pet bunny but I wasn’t allowed to play that game.
